 Pediatric Services

Child Development Assessments

At each well-check appointment, our medical providers perform a comprehensive developmental screening of your child and provide you a handout outlining the expected progression of developmental milestones.

Sick Care

We diagnose and treat acute illnesses. Should your child require hospitalization, our integrated healthcare network of pediatricians will manage your child’s illness at CHI St. Luke’s Memorial Hospital or Woodland Heights Medical Center.

Sports Physicals

We have relationships with all local school districts and provide pre-participation physicals for our student athletes and band members. Here is a link to the Texas UIL pre-participation form:

Nutrition Education

Nutrition and healthy lifestyle education addresses the importance of good nutrition for your child to grow and develop properly. Through education and support, our staff helps guide parents in choosing the best formula supplement, food, and other nutrition sources for the health and well being of your child. We highly encourage our moms to breast feed their child up until 12 months and thereafter as long as the mother and child desire. For nutrition assistance, the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) provides nutrition education and healthy foods enabling families to make lifelong healthy eating and lifestyle choices. Our local WIC office in located at 503 Hill Street, Lufkin, or call 936-637-7242. For more information visit their website at www.texaswic.org.
